Art in the City: Haltom City Gallery Night
Haltom City is part of the Fort Worth Gallery Night event that has long been popular among art fans. Set for Saturday, March 29, organizers are ready to open the doors of the Haltom City Northeast Center, at 3201 Friendly Lane, and welcome all visitors. The show will feature 18 local painters, potters, photographers and wood-turners. The event is scheduled for 1 to 8 p.m.
A list of participants includes: Bennie Wood, Mason Cox, Doris Mobley, Judith Wolf, Carolyn Weinman, Brenda Stolwyk, Sheila Cahill, Michelle Cahill, Conner Vick, Katy Hamilton, Jerry Wenninger, Juan Marroquin, Anna Kuroski, Lizandra Avalos, Kristen Despres, Alan Siebenthal, Wayne Clowers and Hank Johnson.
Organized by Art in the City, a group of citizen volunteers who seek to improve the community’s quality of life by increasing interest in the arts, the Haltom City stop on Gallery Night will also host a reception for artists and guests beginning at 5 p.m.
Fort Worth Gallery Night is coordinated by the Fort Worth Art Dealers Association and takes place one evening each fall and spring. Galleries throughout the cultural district and others in the Fort Worth area welcome visitors as they play hosts to exhibiting artists.
