ONLINE CITIZEN ACCESS PROVIDES
The city of Colleyville’s posted hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. However, Colleyville residents and businesses often have questions or need to report a problem or ask a question after hours or on the weekend. The city has leveraged technology to provide access to the city on a 24-hour basis through the city’s website, Colleyville.com.
Whether a citizen needs to review an issue discussed at a City Council meeting, see the latest crime information for the city or a particular neighborhood, get a copy of an ordinance or other public record, retrieve mapping information, report a problem, or ask a question, information and answers may be obtained online any time of day or night.
The city provides access to online portals through the Online Citizen Access button on the front page. (Look for it above the news stories.) The page offers a comprehensive list of all online services and links to those services. It also offers email access to submit a question or report a problem. Queries received through email are directed to the appropriate department and an email response will be provided on a timely basis.
Some of the current online services include:
Crime Reports- information on crime in Tarrant County, allowing residents or businesses to monitor activity in the city and even in individual neighbor-hoods in a map format.
Call on Colleyville- a user-friendly customer service program that allows submission of a call for service, question, complaint, or comment, plus a tracking mechanism to track the status of any request. The city also offers a mobile app for this service.
Online mapping – a mapping program for creating individualized maps with parameters, showing parks, schools, and zoning, as decided by the user.
City maps – access to the most commonly requested city maps, including trail system, zoning, and neighborhood districts.
Public documents – access to city documents, including budgets, city council packets, meeting agendas and minutes, resolutions and ordinances, and the city charter.
Webcasts – current and archived video recordings of city meetings, including City Council and Planning & Zoning meetings. These are available in a chapterized version, so the viewer may select the agenda topic they wish to review without having to view the entire meeting.
Colleyville CloseBuy – online access to information and instant discounts from Colleyville businesses. The city also offers a mobile app for this service.
Free online magazines – Colleyville Public Library cardholders can now access more than 60 popular magazine titles and download them for free to computers or mobile devices. It’s another free service offered through the library. Titles include: Newsweek, Marie Claire, Forbes, Esquire, Businessweek, Harper’s Bazaar, Rolling Stone, Town & Country, and more. Pay Online – Convenient online payment of utility bills, citations and warrants, library fines, and some building permits.
