7th Annual CHS-KHS Play for a Cure Game October 2
The Central High and Keller High Cheerleaders will once again team up to “Pink Out” Keller ISD Athletics Complex at the 7th Annual Play for a Cure game on October 2.
All proceeds raised for the Play for a Cure Game will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Research Foundation for breast cancer awareness and research.
The cheer squads are encouraging all schools to join together to make this a pink-out day as “We Fight Together” in support of a cure. In an effort to expand the amount donated, the squads are encouraging the community to participate by wearing the official 7th Annual Play for a Cure t-shirt.
The Keller vs. Central game is Thursday, October 2 at 7 p.m. The cheerleading squads are encouraging the Keller ISD community to make this a pink-out day, as they “play pink” in support of a cure. During halftime at the game, a check will be presented to the Susan G. Komen representatives on behalf of our community.
Short sleeve t-shirts will be available for $12, as well as v-necks for $15, long-sleeve shirts for $15, sweatshirts (crew neck) for $18, and sweatshirt (hoodies) for $25.
CHS shirts can be ordered online at www.chargercheer.com and KHS shirts can be pre-ordered through any KHS feeder school office, or you can purchase them during all lunches at KHS from September 22 through October 2.
