Northwest ISD’s Outdoor Learning Center Partners with General ElectricEmployee Volunteers to Impact 2,000 Fifth Graders

Volunteers from NISD’s community business partner General Electric will be constructing educational activities that will replicate the weather and erosion process fifth grade students to use in an upcoming science lesson. Details are included in the attached media advisory.

WHAT – Volunteers from NISD’s community business partner General Electric will be constructing educational activities that will replicate the weather and erosion process fifth grade students to use in an upcoming science lesson. More than 2,000 Northwest ISD fifth grade students will benefit from their work.

WHEN – Friday, September 19, 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

WHERE – Northwest ISD’s Outdoor Learning Center7773 Mulkey Lane, Northlake, 76247

WHY – GE Manufacturing Solutions, based in Fort Worth, is a Northwest ISD Partner in Education.
