Fort Worth Vaqueros Charity FootGolf Tournament to benefit Kicks for Kids

No clubs, no tees but there will be soccer balls, cleats and perhaps a hole in one.
Even if there are no aces there will be winners both among the contestants and in the community when the Fort Worth Vaqueros hold a charity FootGolf Tournament to benefit the Kicks for Kids program at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, November 8 at Sycamore Creek Golf Course.
The Kicks for Kids program provides opportunities for Fort Worth children to attend matches, participate in free soccer clinics and receive needed soccer equipment.
“The brand new Sycamore Creek FootGolf course will provide the perfect location for the Vaqueros family to enjoy a great round of FootGolf, fellowship and benefit another of our community outreach efforts,” Tobias Xavier Lopez, the Vaqueros director of business operations said.
The shamble format will include teams of four participants (youth and adults welcome) plus one Vaqueros player, coach or front office member.
The cost is $25 for an individual or $100 for a foursome. Entry fee includes 18 holes of FootGolf, complimentary beverages (soft drinks, water or beer) plus a general admission ticket to the 2015 season home opener.
Hole sponsorships, $250, include a double-sided sign at a hole, sponsorship of contest on designated hole, inclusion in social media promoting tournament and four spots in tournament.
Sign up (tournament limited to first 72 participants who register) via email to cmeints@ftworthsoccer.com or calling 817-200-7355.
