The varsity boys cross country team of Bethesda Christian School, Fort Worth, captured the TAPPS 2014 2A Boys Cross Country State Championship, held October 25 at Connelly Junior High in Elm Mott. The BCS varsity girls took third in the girls championship contest.

Three members of the boys team—Spencer Doyle, Nathan Davis, and Nathan Henn—and one member of the girls team, Abigail Davis, earned spots on the All-State Team.

The title marks the fourth consecutive year in which Head Coach Pat Robb’s teams have given her and BCS a TAPPS state title. The varsity girls team won the TAPPS 3A championship in 2011, 2012, and 2013.
