Veterans Day Celebration Moved to City Hall

The City of North Richland Hills is moving today’s Veterans Day Celebration indoors due to the cold and windy weather. The special event, originally planned at Liberty Park, will now be held in the City Council Chambers starting at 11 a.m. The Council Chambers is located on the first floor of City Hall at 7301 NE Loop 820.

The program will feature remarks by Mr. Ted McKay, on-air personality for KZPS Lone Star 92.5. The ceremony will also include: remarks by Braelyn Mintzlaff, representing Snowball Express, an organization that helps children and families of fallen heroes; the NRH Fire & Police Honor Guard; a patriotic reading; patriotic music performed by students of Fort Worth Christian School; TAPS performed by Bugles Across America and the Daughters of the American Revolution will be on hand with flags and programs.
