Irving Schools Foundation Expects to Present $400,000 Check to Local Schools
Members of the news media are invited to attend the Irving Schools Foundation (ISF) Legacy Gala Friday evening. With a Bollywood theme, there is sure to be plenty of visuals to capture on camera! In addition, the Foundation will present a check (from the event proceeds) to the Irving school district. Representatives from ISF estimate the amount raised from this evening will be close to $400,000!

WHAT: The Irving Schools Foundation will host its Fourth Annual Legacy Gala to raise funds that support Irving ISD students and schools. The money raised is used to fund grants that sustain programs such as STEM, AVID and Irving ISD Signature Studies.
Following the Bollywood theme for this year’s event, the evening will feature live entertainment, dancing, a silent auction, a live auction, dinner and awards.
The Irving Schools Foundation expects to raise approximately $400,000 from the evening and will present a large check featuring the amount of proceeds to Irving ISD Superintendent Jose L. Parra, Ed.D. and Irving ISD Board President Larry Stipes.
