Lowrey was responsible for starting the Dragon baseball program in 1969 and became high school principal in 1979. He also became the first middle school principal in 1971 and was later named Superintendent in 1988. In 2011, Lowrey was inducted into the inaugural class of the Carroll Athletic Hall of Fame. He received the Distinguished Service Award from Carroll ISD in May 2012. Please keep Lowrey’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.
