Three Upcoming Family Events in the City of Saginaw – April 25th

Saginaw Library Boosters Annual Spring Book and Bake Sale – April 25: Join us on Saturday, April 25th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for the Saginaw Library Boosters Annual Spring “Book and Bake Sale”. Hardback and paperback fiction and non-fiction books, DVDs, CDs, baked goods, and crafted bookmarks will all be on sale in a goal to raise funds to help support the Saginaw Public Library’s programs and services. For more information, contact the Library at 817-230-0300 or stop in person to visit our friendly staff at 355 West McLeroy Blvd.

Opening Day for NEW Saginaw Dog Parks – April 25: Construction is complete and the City of Saginaw is planning the opening day for the two new dog parks (located in Willow Creek Park and Highland Station Park) on April 25th. The City held a citizen encouraged contest to name the dog parks. The new park names and the winning contestants will be recognized at this grand opening. We are having two (2) separate events with the Mayor speaking at each of the parks and cutting the ribbon. The Grand Opening for Willow Creek Paw Park will be at 10:00 a.m. and at 11:00 a.m. for Highland Station Bark Park.

Senior Center Crafts Fair – April 25: The Saginaw Senior Center is hosting their annual Spring Craft Fair on Saturday, April 25th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Senior Center Log Cabin, 405 S. Belmont. To rent a booth or for more information, call Vickie at 817-230-0593.
