Goodwill to Host Job Fair for Veterans

WHO:
More than 40 area employers and service providers; Goodwill Industries of Fort Worth staff including: Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Mission Services Elizabeth Butler, Director of Workforce Development Kevin Williams and Program Manager for the Department of Veterans Affairs John Purkey; Workforce Solution of Tarrant County Workforce Improvement Director Sal Adamski, Texas Veterans Commission Veterans employer Liaison Robert Newsom.

WHAT:
A job fair featuring more than 40 area employers and service providers including organizations such as Flagship Inc., TXU, New Horizon, Manpower, Amazon, Dollar General, Cook Children’s, Waste Management, Ben E. Keith, Lowe’s, Texas Angels Home Health Care and more. Representatives from Goodwill Mission Services, MHMR, the Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services, Division of the Blind and Tarrant County College will be in attendance to provide job counseling and other resources to veterans.
