Sign Up for the 2015 Summer Reading Club at the Saginaw Public Library

“EVERY HERO HAS A STORY!” is the Summer Reading Club theme for the annual program at the John Ed Keeter Public Library of Saginaw for children ages 0 to 5th grade. The library has hosted this program for over 30 years. We will have all kinds of fun with animal programs, puppets, musical, magic, annual carnival, author visit, crafts, creative building opportunities, and of course reading. We will host educational and fun programs that promote books and success of reading. Kids receive incentives as they reach different levels.

Teens will have weekly programs that include movies, gaming, caricature artist visit, anime, author panel, writing classes, animal event, and Japanese culture program. Middle school and high school students can read a book or comic or listen to an ebook/audio and enter weekly drawings for prizes. Teen Summer Line Up of Activities begin on Friday, June 5, with the Hunger Games movie, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Snacks are always provided for teen events.
