Colleyville Heritage One-Act Play Advances to State

Colleyville Heritage High School (CHHS) UIL One-Act Play, Fire in the Hole, has advanced to the State round of competition at the Bass Concert Hall at the University of Texas-Austin on May 28, after advancing this past weekend from the regional competition. This is the first time the CHHS Theater program has made it to the State round in One-Act Play.

One-Act Play is a contest where schools present a 18-40 minute play in front of a panel of judges. With more than 14,000 students participating in over 1000 plays, the UIL One-Act Play contest is the largest high school theater contest or festival in the world.

Throughout the various levels of competition, the CHHS production and the Grapevine High School production of Look Homeward, Angel, have won various honors in their respective divisions.
