TEA Corrects 7th Grade Writing Score Reports
CISD was notified by Pearson, the company that produces all state and district reports for the Texas Education Agency, that after reports for the spring 2015 grades 38 reports were posted, it was discovered that the results for the STAAR grade 7 compositions were inadvertently switched; i.e., the personal narrative writing results are listed where the expository writing results should be and vice versa. This does not affect overall student performance (scale score and passing status) and does not affect students that took the STAAR A version. CISD requested new Confidential Student Data Reports and have since received those. If you would like an updated copy for your records, you may pick one up at your child’s school.
