Community Invited to Help Name New CTE Campus
Keller ISD welcomes the community to provide its input on the name of the District’s new career and technology education campus, set to open in August 2016.
The conversion of South Keller Intermediate School into a campus hosting CTE programs shared by all four KISD high schools was approved as part of the $169.5 million bond package approved by District voters in 2014. Construction is underway at the campus, and Keller ISD invites students, parents, teachers, and community members to weigh in and help decide the facility’s new name once renovations have been completed.
Finalists for the name of the new campus are:
- Keller Hub of Innovative and Virtual Education
- Keller Network of Advanced Learning
- Keller Innovative Learning Network
- Keller Hub of Advanced Learning
- Keller Center for Advanced Learning
Voting will end at midnight Sunday, September 27. Keller ISD facility naming policy requires that the Board of Trustees has final approval on the name of any new campus.
