NRH Planning and Development Department Receives Certificate of Achievement
The North Richland Hills Planning & Development Department recently received the 2015 Certificate of Achievement for Planning Excellence from the Texas Chapter of the American Planning Association. This honor recognizes the professional planning standards demonstrated by city staff, as well as the support exhibited by the City Council and Planning Commission. This is the third year in a row North Richland Hills has received this statewide recognition.
The City of North Richland Hills extends its congratulations and thanks to the planning staff and members of the Planning & Zoning Commission for the important work that they do.
The City also recognizes the month of October as National Community Planning Month. This year’s theme is Healthy Communities, Healthy People. The theme underscores the impact that the built environment, such as our many city parks, trails and open spaces, can have on residents’ health.
