Carroll Honors Two District Teachers of the Year
Carroll ISD announced the two district teachers of the year at Wednesday’s End-of-Year banquet. Eubanks Intermediate teacher Becca Calvert was named K-6th Teacher of the Year. Johnson Named Carroll ISD Director of Bands
Carroll ISD has named Ken Johnson the new Director of Bands. Johnson has served in the district for 18 years and replaces the retiring Jay Bach. Read more about Johnson here.
CISD Schools Closed Friday & Monday
Carroll ISD schools will be closed Friday due to an unused bad weather day built into the school calendar. School will also be closed Monday for the Memorial Day holiday. Classes resume Tuesday.
Dragon Baseball Faces Fossil Ridge Tonight in Class 6A Region I Semifinals
Carroll opens a Class 6A Region I semifinal playoff series tonight vs. Fossil Ridge at Brewer High School. The game starts at 7:30 p.m. Follow the Dragons on Gamechanger here.

Dragon Football Season Tickets Still Available
Looking for a great seat at Dragon football next season? Season tickets still remain for the 2017 season. They can be purchased at the athletic department in the Carroll ISD Administration Center, located at 2400 North Carroll. Building hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
Bus Passes Available for 2017-2018 School Year
Bus passes are now available for purchase for the 2017-2018 school year. In order to receive early incentive pricing, reserve and pay for your child’s bus pass by July 31. Click here for more information.
Project Graduation Tickets On Sale
Project Graduation Tickets are currently on sale for $85. The ticket price will increase on May 27. Online purchasing will end on May 30 at 11 p.m. after this time you may purchase the tickets at the door or by contacting Angela Schwartz, email@example.com. Student Medication Pickup Due By June 1
Please be advised if your student has medication or health supplies in the school clinic, these items must be picked up before the last day of school. For student’s safety and security, medications will not be sent home with any student. All medications, prescriptions and over the counter will be destroyed at the end of the day June 1. No medication will be “held over” for the next school year.
Retirement Barbecue for Jay Bach, Director of Bands – RSVP by Friday

Baccalaureate 2017 Information
Baccalaureate is a CHS/CSHS PTO sponsored, interfaith service to honor all Carroll seniors and their families. The approximately hour-long service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 28. This year’s theme will be “The Heart of Success” and will include readings, words of inspiration, music and prayer from Carroll Seniors representing multiple faiths. In addition to student participation, several local faith leaders will provide short inspirational messages. Baccalaureate is the first occasion in which graduates will wear their caps and gowns. The service is held at White’s Chapel United Methodist Church. No RSVP is needed for students and their family members. View the invitation and details on the CHS/CSHS PTO website here.
