Congratulations to our “Top Ten” from Bell High School and our “Top Ten” from Trinity High School — the 2017 graduates with the highest final GPAs.

Hundreds of local families came to the HEB Reads! Summer Reading Kickoff Party and enjoyed free food, activities, and books.

Local residents went on HEB ISD’s inaugural Senior Citizen Tour, visiting schools and learning about district processes and programs.

This year’s Volunteers & Adopters Luncheon theme was “Wild About Volunteers and Adopters”, recognizing the community members who use their time and resources to support our schools.

Trinity High School’s junior chapter of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers held their end-of-year celebration, the culmination of another year of growth and successful activities.

Once again this summer, our Child Nutrition department will provide free summer meals at select HEB ISD schools. (Follow the link and download the information flyer for the locations, dates, and times.)

Winners Circle
Winners Circle recognizes students, staff, and community members who have achieved something remarkable or gone beyond the call of duty.
From the Maintenance Department, George Whitehouse fixed the stage lighting for Spring Garden Elementary, helping the school prepare for an amazing 6th grade musical performance.
From the Buinger CTE Academy, Ingrid Hajek and her cosmetology class traveled to Spring Garden to do hair and makeup for students performing in that same 6th grade musical.
At Shady Brook Elementary, a group of staff gave up their Friday afternoons so students could participate in Funday Fridays. Thank you Tina Tyson, Tracy Newton, Lydia Gagliardi, Trish Scott, Taylor Lothes, Luke Landreville, Tammie Epps, Celeste Bonnick, Jyoti Patel, Cindy Hermus, Kelly Statz, Lisa Evans, Shannon Gauntt, and Clarence Scott.
The Maintenance Department’s Heidi Gorbenko works behind the scenes to keep schools at the proper temperature for a comfortable environment and efficient operations.
