Upcoming Holiday Hours and News from the City of Saginaw

FIREWORKS PROHIBITED IN SAGINAW: The City of Saginaw has adopted a Fire Code ordinance prohibiting the open possession, manufacture, storage, handling, sale and use of fireworks within the city limits of Saginaw. The Saginaw Fire Department aggressively seeks compliance with this ordinance with the goal of ensuring the safety of the entire community. Non-compliance may result in the confiscation of all prohibited items and can result in a fine from $200 to $2,000. This ordinance is for 365 days of every year with no exceptions for the 4th of July and New Year’s Holidays.

UPCOMING HOLIDAY HOURS – JULY 4TH: The City of Saginaw Municipal Offices, the Library and the Recreation Center will be closed all day on Tuesday, July 4th to observe our country’s day of independence. However, the Saginaw Aquatic Center will be open from 12:00 noon to 7:00 p.m.
