Weekly farmer’s market coming to Colleyville in March

Colleyville residents can shop for local organic produce or artisanal goods while getting to know the men and women that harvested or crafted them at weekly outdoor farmer’s markets starting in March.

City Council approved a contract with Four Seasons Markets to manage a weekly Saturday farmer’s market starting March 24 through 2018. City Council aims to foster community with these gatherings.

From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays 30-40 vendors will sell various offerings including organic produce, meats, cheeses, eggs, honey, salsa, and jams, and crafted items such as candles, artwork, woodcrafts, and clothes. Four Seasons Markets will use the area just south of City Hall, which the City purchased earlier this year.
The City chose to work with Four Seasons because of their reputation as the leading provider of farmer’s markets across North Texas. They’ve brought successful European-style farmer’s markets to several communities including Flower Mound, Highland Village, Dallas, Richardson, and Irving.

Four Seasons Markets has a network of more than 400 local vendors. Vendors sign up to participate each week so the Colleyville market will see a variety of farmers and artisans based on local tastes and what’s in season. Visit to view the list of vendors that may come to Colleyville.

The City will look to supplement periodic market days with other events such as live music, children’s activities, art, and more.
