Carroll ISD Honors School Counselors
The week of February 5, is National School Counseling Week. At the recent Carroll ISD School Board Meeting, the Board of Trustees took time to recognize this group who are dedicated to the success of CISD students.
National School Counseling Week, sponsored by the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), will be celebrated from February 5–9, 2018, to focus public attention on the unique contribution of professional school counselors within United States school systems and how students are different as a result of what school counselors do. National School Counseling Week highlights the tremendous impact school counselors can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career.
Superintendent Dr. David Faltys spoke during the meeting about the important role these counselors have on campuses and throughout the district.
“They tirelessly work for the betterment of our students day in and day out. We appreciate that their focus is always on student success. These individuals are a perfect example of Carroll ISD’s core value of Compassionate Service.”
Campuses across the district are spending time this week thanking and recognizing the work of their counselors.
