KISD: HLES, ISMS Named Schools Transforming Learning
Hidden Lakes Elementary School and Indian Springs Middle School have earned a 2018 Schools Transforming Learning distinction by the Principals’ Institute (PI) and were recognized at the June 7 PI Summer Conference.
Schools Transforming Learning Logo The Principals’ Institute awards the Schools Transforming Learning distinction to campuses that are making exceptional strides on their journeys to provide innovative learning opportunities for all students. HLES and ISMS are two of only 31 campuses across the entire state to receive this distinction.
Nominations for the honor were open to campuses led by any of the nearly 350 PI participants or alumni who represent more than 72 Texas public school districts. PI is a statewide professional learning series designed to challenge thinking and help campus leaders develop and sustain transformative learning environments.
Congratulations to HLES and ISMS on this exceptional achievement!
