Colleyville welcomes new Public Works director

The City is excited to welcome new Public Works Director Ray Silva-Reyes. Ray has years of experience having worked as a Public Works/Parks/Community Development Director in the City of Red Oak. Prior to this, Ray was an engineer with Freese and Nichols, Inc. in Denton, Texas.

Ray has a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering/Math from Texas Tech University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington. Ray comes to Colleyville with several licenses and certificates. Specifically, Ray has a Wastewater Collection II license and a Water Operator Class D license. Ray is also a Certified Floodplain Manager and has certificates in Public Budget Management and Financial Management.

Ray states “I am honored to join the City of Colleyville and continue to help drive the City’s efforts in maintaining Colleyville as a vibrant and welcoming community. I look forward to working with staff and City Council and building on the many successes of the Public Works Department. Most of all, I look forward to serving the residents of Colleyville.”
