HSA Euless earns all 7 STAAR distinction for a 3rd year in a row!
Harmony Science Academy Euless is one of two Harmony high schools in DFW to receive all seven possible distinctions from the Texas Education Agency measured by the STAAR test three years in a row.
Serving a predominately minority and economically disadvantaged student body, this “A” grade distinction is another incredible feat for HSA Euless as the school is also the Top High School in HEB District and 89th on the list of Texas High Schools reported by U.S. News and Report.
The TEA distinctions are as followed: Academic Achievements in Mathematics, Science, English Language Arts/Reading, Social Studies, Top 25 Percent: Comparative Academic Growth, Postsecondary Readiness, and Top 25 Percent: Comparative Closing the Gaps.
HSA Euless is also one out of 54 Harmony Public Schools campuses to have achieved a perfect passing score on the 2017-2018 State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness (STAAR) exam.
Overall, Harmony DFW district which consists of 17 campuses including Harmony Science Academy – Dallas, Harmony School of Business – Dallas, and Harmony Science Academy – Fort Worth scored 91 out of 100, under the agency’s revised rating scheme. This is an “A” rating.
For the 2018-2019 school year, Harmony Public Schools is opening a new campus, Harmony School of Innovation – Grand Prairie. “We are excited to launch this new school and expect it to maintain the same level of academic excellence we see at all of our campuses,” said Fatih Ay, Harmony Chief Executive Officer.
