Call for Volunteers – Be a Part of Colleyville’s Boards, Commissions, and Committees
Are you looking to get more involved in local government? The City Council is seeking residents who want to be engaged in their community and help support council goals and initiatives.
In October, the Mayor and City Council will make appointments to the Historical Preservation Committee, the Library Board, Metroport Teen Court Advisory Board, the Planning and Zoning Commission, and the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
Colleyville residents interested in helping their local government in the areas of preserving Colleyville’s history, library planning and programming, juvenile judicial processes, residential zoning, or land use and development are encouraged to complete an application for a board, commission, or committee. Applications can be found on the City’s website.
Each appointment is for a two year term, unless appointed to fulfill an existing vacancy for an unexpired term. It takes a team to run a city, and Colleyville City Council wants you to be a part of the team. If you are looking to get involved and have a passion for our community, please complete an application and e-mail it to firstname.lastname@example.org or fax it to 817.503.1139 in the City Secretary’s Office. You can also mail your application to the City Secretary’s Office at 100 Main Street, Colleyville, Texas 76034. Applications must be received no later than September 7.
