Students from Carroll High School and Carroll Senior High School will be attending the Business Professionals of America 2019 State Leadership Conference March 6-9 in Dallas.  The Carroll ISD chapter members will join over 2,800 other conference delegates from across the state to participate in state level business skill competitions, general sessions, and the state officer candidate campaigns and elections.

“Students from the Texas Association’s Regional Leadership Conference have qualified to participate at the state level conference. The conference emphasizes business workforce education and training which members of the local chapter of Business Professionals of America at Carroll have received,” said Carroll ISD chapter advisor Kim Goodman.  In addition to the qualifying events, members have also been working together to compete the BPA Torch Awards Program.  This program is designed to promote professionalism, leadership and personal growth in seven different categories.  “Last year, and again this year, our members have successfully complete the tasks to meet the requirement for the Statesman award at State Leadership Conference.  I am very proud of their commitment and accomplishments in our second year as a BPA chapter.”
