Fort Worth: Log Cabin Village recognized for its role in preserving history
Fort Worth’s Log Cabin Village received the Texas Star Award, given annually to a site or organization that has demonstrated outstanding overall contributions to living history in Texas.
The award is based on a nomination, then a subsequent vote by regional representatives of the Texas Living History Association. The award was presented at the Texas Living History Association annual conference last month at Nash Farm in Grapevine.
Log Cabin Village is at 2100 Log Cabin Village Lane. Each of the historic structures, furnished with authentic artifacts, provides a vivid look at life in the 19th century North Texas frontier.
