HEB ISD Fire Academy Parent/Student Information Nights: April 11 & 18, 2019
HEB ISD’s Buinger CTE Academy will begin hosting a Fire Academy for high school students, starting in August 2019. Parents and students are invited to attend one of two information nights:

Upon successful completion of the program, students will be eligible to take the Emergency Medical Technician Exam (EMT)

Students attend classes at the BCTEA
Requirements
- Be in the 11th grade in August 2019
- Eligible to enroll as Dual/CE credit student
- Willing to commit to a 2-year program
- Attend club nights and Saturday activities
- Pass a Physical Fitness and Drug Screening
