Colleyville: Spring Happenings at the Library

Colleyville: Spring Happenings at the Library

Hop on in to the Colleyville Public Library for a week of fun-filled spring activities.

Ready, Set, HUNT!

Explorers and hunters of all ages are invited to the Colleyville Public Library for a week-long scavenger hunt. “Ready, Set, HUNT!” is open to children and adults of all ages. Participants will check in at the Help Desk, located on the first floor. They will then embark on an age-appropriate scavenger hunt among the Library’s on-going sculpture exhibit. When the hunt is complete, participants will receive a fun treat!

Children will craft a mini build-you-own treat bag for their prize. The mini bags may include colorful Easter grass, a small treat, and a filled plastic egg with stickers, candy, and a coupon for the Friends of the Library Book Sale, held the first weekend in May.

The scavenger hunt will take place during normal Library hours, from Monday, April 15 through Saturday, April 20(the Library and City offices will be closed on Friday, April 19).

Spring Treat

Need a sweet indulgence this week? How about a fresh cup of coffee or a refreshing lemonade? Stop on in at the Colleyville Public Library, check out a new favorite read, and enjoy a small sweet treat. Refreshments will be available all day Thursday, April 18 during normal Library hours.

Additionally, children are invited to participate in a Make & Take Spring Craft being held in the Library’s breezeway area, located just outside the Library doors (in case of inclement weather, the craft will be moved indoors to the Library’s Colleyville Room). The craft will be offered on Thursday, april 18 from 10:30 a.m. to noon and from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
