Fort Worth: Log Cabin Village offering free admission to active-duty military
As part of the Blue Star Museums program, the Log Cabin Village is offering free admission to active-duty military personnel this summer.
Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense and museums across America. Each summer since 2010, Blue Star Museums have offered free admission to the nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve. The program runs through Labor Day.
As a participating museum, the Log Cabin Village will offer free admission to active-duty personnel (with military ID) and up to five of their family members. The active-duty member does not have to be present for family members to use the program. Active-duty military family members just need to bring DD Form 1173 ID Card, or DD Form 1173-1 ID Card, for active-duty military family members.
Log Cabin Village, 2100 Log Cabin Village Lane, is open 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 1-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday; closed Mondays.
