My Grapevine App Discontinued

My Grapevine App Discontinued

Due to recent changes to Apple’s App Store review guidelines, Recycle Coach has been notified that it can no longer continue offering both the Recycle Coach app and the My Grapevine app. As a result, the My Grapevine app must be discontinued and will not be available for download on iOS/Android stores as of June 14, 2019. Residents may download the Recycle Coach app (identical functions as the My Grapevine app) to receive the same service (trash/recyclables collection schedule, bulk pick-up dates for your area, etc.).

Residents who are currently utilizing the My Grapevine app are encouraged to download the Recycle Coach app as the My Grapevine app will discontinue working on mobile devices and will soon be removed.

The My Grapevine app was initially launched in 2011. In 2016, the developer, Municipal Media Inc., rebranded as Recycle Coach but continued to support the My Grapevine app.

In the coming weeks, My Grapevine users can expect special messaging with their collection reminders notifying them to update to Recycle Coach. Residents who use their community’s web app will notice a banner informing them about the transition. Please download the Recycle Coach app for iOS/Android devices today.

Recycle Coach offers the same features as My Grapevine, including:
• Personalized curbside collection and events calendars.
• Collection reminders and real-time updates on service disruptions.
• Disposal information for 10,000+ items with the “What goes where?” search tool.
• The problem-reporting tool, equipped with geolocation, to notify municipal customer services about issues – like missed collections.

Recycle Coach will continue receiving updates and support through iOS/Android app stores. Recycle Coach users will not be affected by this change.
