Fort Worth: 3rd Thursday Jazz presents Keron Jackson
Fort Worth native Keron Jackson knows a thing or two about struggle, but he never let it keep him down. Jackson grew up in the Stop Six projects, separated from his sisters, and eventually became homeless. But Jackson’s luck would change and set him on a course where he has been proclaimed as a “one in a million voice that hits you like a wave.”
Jackson was told he was a solo singer that will change lives through music. Since graduating from Baylor University, Jackson has done just that. Jackson has performed at Carnegie Hall and the Dallas Opera. He also won the Sammons Center for the Arts award for Vocalist in 2018.
Jackson has traveled the world, but said he is extremely excited to return home and perform for his hometown. Jackson promises an extraordinary evening of music for all who attend.
