Watauga Mayor to Proclaim June as PTSD Awareness Month and Recognize June 27, 2019 as National PTSD Day

une 27th is national PTSD day and June is PTSD Awareness Month.  Mayor Art Miner, in a ceremony to be held at the Watauga Veterans Memorial on June 27, 2019 at 8:30 a.m., will issue a proclamation recognizing the significant impacts PTSD has on many members of our military.  The City recognizes how important it is to raise awareness and to encourage those affected to seek help.  Please join us at Capp Smith Park as a show of support so that anyone suffering the effects of PTSD will know that they are truly not alone.
