Fort Worth: Fair aims to be one-stop location for refugee information
The Refugee Resource Fair will be a learning experience for the refugee community in Tarrant County. Organizers aim to bring together as many community partners as possible so that refugees, immigrants, asylum seekers and others can visit one location to receive resources and education.
The fair will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 10 at Resource Connection of Tarrant County’s gymnasium, 2300 Circle Drive. The event is sponsored by Tarrant County MHMR’s crisis services department.
Participants should bring a government-issued photo identification; students may present a school ID, library card or similar ID.
Please only bring your immediate necessities to the event. All personal items should be able to be carried in a small bag that will be searched upon entry. Refreshments will be provided.
