NISD: Middle school musical ‘Frozen Jr.’ performances take place Sept. 12-14
Northwest ISD’s middle school musical for 2019-20, “Frozen Jr.,” will take place Sept. 12 to 14, with four performances spanning the three days inside Byron Nelson High School’s performing arts center.
“Frozen Jr.” tells the adapted tale of the Broadway iteration of the popular Disney movie in a one-act, family-friendly format suitable for children of all ages. Audiences will hear all the popular songs from the movie along with songs from the Broadway production as they follow Elsa and Anna in the magical land of Arendelle. The first performance of the musical will take place at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, followed by a performance at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13. On Saturday, Sept. 14, two performances will take place – the first at 2 p.m., followed by the final performance at 7 p.m.
Tickets to the show are available now at this link. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Northwest ISD employees receive free admission after showing their employee IDs at the door; Gold Card members also receive free admission when showing their cards.
Byron Nelson High School is located at 2775 Bobcat Blvd. in Trophy Club. The school’s performing arts center is located immediately to the right after entering the school lobby.
