Perot Foundation Awards Leukemia Texas $100,000.00 Grant for Patient Aid

Perot Foundation Awards Leukemia Texas $100,000.00 Grant for Patient Aid
The Perot Foundation of Dallas, founded by the late Ross Perot, announced Tuesday that it is donating $100,000 to LeukemiaTexas to support the Patient Aid program.
We are honored to partner with the Perot Foundation through this very special gift. This partnership not only provides financial help through the cost of treatment, prescriptions and many basic needs, but it provides so much hope
“For close to 50 years, Leukemia Texas has led efforts across our great state to provide assistance to Texans battling leukemia,” said Carolyn Perot Rathjen. “Our family is proud to support their work to
fund these individuals and also encourage others to recognize the need to contribute to their mission.”
Leukemia Texas generates revenue to support patients and fund research exclusively across Texas. It is estimated that close to 4,000 Texans will be diagnosed with leukemia this year. The donation from the Perot Foundation will fund 100 patient aid applicants at $1,000 each. “We are honored to partner with the Perot Foundation through this very special gift. This partnership not only provides financial help through the cost of treatment, prescriptions and many basic needs, but it provides so much hope” said Mandy O’Neill, CEO of Leukemia Texas. “Thanks to the generosity of the Perot Foundation, Leukemia Texas is able to support Texans who desperately depend on us.”
