Philip’s Lemonade Stand Spreads Smiles Across Colleyville
Philip Webb is a young Colleyville resident with a huge heart. Well known throughout the community, Philip brings a smile to the faces of everyone he meets.
In late September, Philip, with the encouragement and support of his coaches from the Colleyville Baseball Association (CBA), set up his very own lemonade stand in City Park to raise money for Step Up for Down Syndrome. Colleyville employees were more than happy to support Philip and help him reach his goal. Colleyville Police, Fire, and members of City Council all stopped by to donate and enjoy some of Philip’s tasty lemonade. With the enthusiastic support of the community, Philip was able to raise $1,771 in two hours.
At Tuesday’s Council meeting, Philip and his brother Luke stopped by to thank the City of Colleyville, CBA, and the community for helping to make Philip’s Lemonade Stand a success. They brought t-shirts, hats, and more of Philip’s tasty lemonade for everyone to enjoy.
The City of Colleyville wants to recognize these young Colleyville residents and their work to make their community and the world a better place. Thank you Webb family!
