Colleyville Welcomes New Chick-fil-A Location
A new Colleyville location of restaurant franchise Chick-fil-A is coming to 5150 Colleyville Blvd. The restaurant will occupy the site of the former Londoner restaurant and demolition will begin soon.
“We’ve had residents asking for a Chick-fil-A for some time now. We are excited to welcome this family-favorite restaurant to Colleyville,” said Mayor Richard Newton.
The City recently received the initial development submittal for the 5,000 square foot Chick-fil-A and is working with the franchise owners to ensure the project is one that meets Colleyville’s exceptional expectations.
Colleyville City Council authorized an economic development grant for Chick-fil-A in early December to further incentivize the chain to build a high-quality space within Colleyville city limits for residents to enjoy. The building will be 100% masonry with stonework wrapping the building and drive-thru columns and include extensive landscaping.
The new location is anticipated to bring in $3.5M in sales annually resulting in $70,000 in local annual sales tax for Colleyville in addition to property taxes collected from the site. The restaurant chain is known for contributing to its local community through charitable events, fundraisers, and collaborative outreach efforts. The city looks forward to welcoming the new location as part of the Colleyville community.
