Fort Worth – Learn about Citizens on Patrol

Fort Worth’s Citizens on Patrol (COPS) program is making a positive impact on the city’s quality of life. Members help deter crime by patrolling in their cars, on bicycles and on foot.

Learn about the COPS program at a series of open houses scheduled for Jan. 18 at these locations:

  • Central Division Police Station, 1289 Hemphill St., 9-10 a.m.
  • South Division Police Station, 3128 W. Bolt St., 10:30-11:30 a.m.
  • East Division Police Station, 1100 Nashville St., noon-1 p.m.
  • West Division Police Station, 3525 Marquita Drive, 1:30-2:30 p.m.
  • Northwest Division Police Station, 4651 N. Main St., 3-4 p.m.

Residents will learn about the FWPD Citizens on Patrol program and how it addresses crime in neighborhoods. Attendees can sign up for free classes to learn how the department delivers police services to the community.
