CWD Asks for Your Help in Keeping Drivers Safe

CWD Asks for Your Help in Keeping Drivers Safe
In response to the coronavirus, Community Waste Disposal (CWD) is requesting residents’ help to ensure the safety of their workers and reduce the spread of the virus.
Currently, there are no changes in service being provided by CWD. By taking these simple precautions, residents can help the drivers/workers continue to stay safe.
Please bag & tie all trash. By doing this, you are helping to ensure you, your family, your neighbors, and your trash collectors do not come in contact with potentially contaminated items.
Sanitize bulk items set out for removal (if possible). Wiping down non-porous surfaces such as metal, glass, and plastic will help minimize the potential spread of the coronavirus.
Please sanitize cart handles before and after service. Doing so will help minimize the potential spread to neighboring carts. Research suggests coronavirus can live on hard, shiny surfaces for up to 72 hours.
