Haltom City Fall Gallery Night to welcome art enthusiasts
The Haltom City stop during fall Fort Worth Gallery Night will offer a wide variety of art that should strike a chord with just about everyone. Set for Saturday, Sept. 6, the Haltom location is the Tarrant County College Northeast Center, at 3201 Friendly Lane. The show will feature a total of 18 local artists, among them painters, potters, gourd artists, photographers and wood-turners. The event is scheduled for 1 to 8 p.m., and there is no admission charge.
Organized by Art in the City, a group of citizen volunteers who seek to improve the community’s quality of life by increasing interest in the arts, Gallery Night in Haltom City will also feature a reception for artists and guests beginning at 5 p.m.
Fort Worth Gallery Night is coordinated by the Fort Worth Art Dealers Association and takes place one evening each fall and spring. Galleries throughout the cultural district and others in the Fort Worth area welcome visitors as they play hosts to exhibiting artists.
