NE TARRANT TEA PARTY TO HOLD MEETING ON BORDER CRISIS
NE Tarrant Tea Party is pleased to host Brandon Darby, Managing Director of Breitbart Texas, to discuss the crisis on the border. Brandon has been covering this issue for a year and a half, often working undercover and breaking stories ignored by other outlets. He is a champion for grassroots activists and desires to educate the people on what is really going on at the border. Brandon will share the stage with two Border Patrol Union Representatives, Jarrad Seely and Hector Garza. The event will include audience Q&A time.
This meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 11, from 6:30-8:30pm at Palace Theater in Grapevine (300 S Main St). It is free to attend and open to the public and Press. Other groups promoting this event include Arlington Tea Party, Hood County Tea Party, NW Dallas County Tea Party, NE Tarrant Republican Club, Frisco Tea Party, and Arlington Republican Club.
Citizens have many questions and concerns regarding the border crisis – including issues such as health, public safety, economic implications, resolutions, and humanitarian concerns. Our goal is to provide them with truthful, straight-forward answers. NE Tarrant Tea Party President Julie McCarty explains, “NETTP has always been about educating the public in laymen’s terms so that we, in a collective voice, are empowered to respond appropriately to our elected officials. We believe it is our responsibility to do so.”
