Northwest ISD is excited to announce Susan Elza has been named the 2013 Region III & VI Athletic Director of the Year. Along with Susan, there were many outstanding candidates for this great honor. Susan will be recognized along with the other Regional athletic directors of the year at this year’s State Conference held in Houston, Texas.

Susan Elza was named NISD’s director of athletics in April of 2008. Her experience in a fast-growth school district, coupled with her vast knowledge base and strong leadership skills, has allowed Susan to receive honors of this magnitude.

NISD is pleased to congratulate Susan on such a great achievement.
