Leticia Van de Putte Launches Texas Promise Tour

Tomorrow, Senator Leticia Van de Putte, Democratic nominee for Lt. Governor launches her Texas Promise Tour in San Antonio. In August, Senator Van de Putte released her Texas Promise scholarship program, a proposal that would ensure all eligible high school students earn free tuition for college or technical education for up to two years.

Senator Van de Putte released the following statement:
“From the panhandle to South Texas and everywhere in between, Texans know that the education of our students is a good investment. Texas’ best days are still ahead and with my Texas Promise scholarship plan we will forge a stronger Texas for generations to come.”

Senator Van de Putte will be available to the press immediately following her remarks to the students, parents, and supporters.
