Carroll STEM Program Seeks Partnerships
The STEM Program in Carroll ISD is seeking partnerships with area businesses to develop internship opportunities for Carroll Senior and High School students. These Science, Technology, Engineering and Math students are enrolled in courses to prepare them for careers in engineering, project management and technology. Internship opportunities give students a chance to apply their programming, computer-aided design and project management skills in a professional business or operations environment. Students are required to complete an internship in order to qualify for certifications in some areas of study. If you or someone you know would be interested in providing internships for students in any of the above mentioned areas, please contact Alice FitzGerald, STEM Coordinator at Carroll High School at 817-949-5762 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
