Dallas Lawmaker, Rep. Roberto R. Alonzo Expresses Condolences, Sadness On the Death of Ebola Patient Thomas Eric Duncan earlier today
State Representative Roberto R. Alonzo today expressed sadness on the death earlier today of Ebola patient Thomas Eric Duncan at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas.
“I personally offer my condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Thomas Eric Duncan of Liberia who passed away earlier this morning in Dallas from symptoms associated with Ebola. While Mr. Duncan suffered for almost two weeks during his hospitalization right after his arrival in Dallas, I was impressed by the moral support and concern expressed for Mr. Duncan. His family and friends, along with many others around the city, state and nation as well as all over the world stood firmly by his side keeping watch on his health condition,” said Rep. Alonzo.
“While the outcome was not what any of us wanted, especially those from the medical community, government health agencies, and health care providers alike, I know the death of Mr. Duncan was a much more personal matter for his family and close friends. My thoughts and prayers are with the Duncan Family, “ concluded Rep. Alonzo.
