National Health Survey
Tarrant County is one of 15 counties across the United States that has been selected for this year’s National Health & Nutrition Examination Survey. This survey is conducted annually by the National Center for Health Statistics, which is part of the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, to assess the health and nutritional status of Americans.
A random sample of about 500 people from across Tarrant County will be selected to participate in the survey between October 31, 2014 and January 28, 2015. The survey will include in person interviews, as well as medical examinations in a mobile examination center.
Some residents in North Richland Hills may be asked to participate in this survey. If your household is contacted and you would like more information, please call the National Center for Health Statistics at 1-800-452-6115 or go online to www.cdc.gov/nchs/nhanes.htm.
