3D Printer Expo
The Tarrant Makers and the North Richland Hills Public Library will host their second annual 3D Printer Expo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2014. The expo will take place in the Community Room at the Library located at 9015 Grand Ave in North Richland Hills.
The expo will feature live-printed 3D objects and professional grade 3D printers. Visitors can also learn about The Maker Spot, a 4,800-square-foot community maker space that will be opening in the North Richland Hills Public Library in 2015. The Maker Spot will offer 3D printing, audio-visual production and editing, electronics and robotics, hands on science and soft crafts.
Both The Maker Spot and the 3D Printer Expo are made possible by a grant from the Texas State Library and Archives Commission and the Institute of Museum and Library Services. For more information, go online to themakerspot.org or call the North Richland Hills Public Library at 817-427-6823.
