The City of Saginaw Animal Services and shelter is located at 205 Brenda Ln. in Saginaw (map) and is the temporary home to many wonderful pets and companions that are available for adoption to loving homes. All adoptions are first-come, first- served. Please stop by and visit with our friendly staff at the shelter if you are looking for a family pet, need your current pet micro-chipped or you have some spare time and are interested in volunteering. The investment in volunteering is minimal but the return is immeasurable!

The Animal Services Department hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (CLOSED Sundays).

FUN FACTS ABOUT THE SAGINAW ANIMAL SHELTER:
– Did you know that the Saginaw Animal Shelter holds an average of 90% pet adoption rate including reclaims and rescues? It’s true!
– This past weekend, we took eight (8) dogs to an off-site animal adoption and ALL eight (8) were adopted!
– Volunteers are an essential part of the daily activities in our shelter to assist with socializing, walking, cleaning and playing with the animals.
