Cuisine for Healing Announces Fifth Annual Dinner Party for Life Benefit Event
December 11, 2014 – Cuisine for Healing, a nonprofit organization dedicated tomaking nutritious, delicious food readily available to cancer patients and others combating disease, today announced that the fifth annual Dinner Party for Life benefit event will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at The Fort Worth Club, located at 306 West 7th Street in Fort Worth, Texas.
This unique dining experience is a seated affair that will include a six-course tasting menu paired with specially selected wines. Each unique dish will be prepared by one of six top chefs in the Fort Worth area and will meet Cuisine for Healing’s healthy certification guidelines.
Leading the chef lineup is Jerrett Joslin, owner/chef of The Wild Mushroom Steakhouse & Lounge and Vintage Grill & Car Museum, who will serve again this year as the event’s head chef. The other five participating chefs will be: Jon Bonnell, owner and executive chef at Waters Coastal Cuisine & Bonnell’s Fine Texas Cuisine; Karon Constance, chef at Cuisine for Healing; Jason Harper, owner and chef at Trio Café; Timothy Prefontaine, chef at The Fort Worth Club and Charles Youts, executive chef at The Classic Café.
Fort Worth’s former First Lady, Rosie Moncrief, will serve as honorary chairperson once again, and food/travel writer June Naylor will emcee the event.
Live musical entertainment will be among the evening’s festivities and guests will have the opportunity to visit with the chefs and learn more about Cuisine for Healing’s mission and Outreach Food Program.
The 5th Annual Dinner Party for Life sponsors include: USMD Health System (presenting sponsor) and Fort Worth, Texas Magazine (media sponsor).
